Manage Maintenance Plans

Maintenance plans generate work orders at scheduled intervals for preventive maintenance activities.

Create a maintenance plan

1. Go to Assets.
2. Select the customer site associated with the asset.
3. Select Create asset maintenance plan.
4. Enter a Maintenance plan name and Description.
5. Select a Work order template.
6. Select Task type.
7. Select the Asset you want to assign to the maintenance plan.
8. Optionally, select a Contract.
9. Optionally, enter the Maintenance plan end date.
10. Enter Maintenance plan details.
    • Repeats every: Enter a number and a time value (for example, 1 Month for monthly maintenance)
    • First and Last maintenance date: Enter the time range for the maintenance plan
    • Generate work orders in advance (in days): Enter the days before scheduled maintenance for work orders to generate.
11. Select Save.
